We transform objects filled with history into unique works of art.

WE LISTEN
Some objects carry far more than a function. They carry a voice, an absence, a moment we never wished to let disappear, a sentimental value.
A piece of jewellery passed down through generations, a childhood toy, a letter we know by heart: all are silent presences still needing an incarnation.
Objet Retrouvé was born from this conviction: many objects hold a memory worthy of being preserved. We listen to these memories and collaborate with artists and artisans to give them a new form. Together, we transform objects with a story into singular works of art—so the object and the memories it holds can be passed on through time and generations.
For whom?
For those who keep an object they cannot part with, without always understanding why.
For those whose life’s defining moment—a birth, a loss, a journey, an encounter—wish to give it a form that goes beyond the simple memory or photograph.
For families who refuse to let a story disappear with the person who lived it.
For companies and communities that preserve objects carrying a collective memory and wish to give them a new life.
WE CREATE
Each work is born from a dialogue between an object, a story, and an artistic perspective. Nothing is created according to a standard formula: every project follows its own path, guided by the memory held within the object and the emotion it evokes.
From our first encounter to the final delivery of the work, we accompany every stage of this transformation, giving new form to what matters most to you.
WHAT CAN BECOME A WORK OF ART?
Objects that have a story. Objects that matter. Objects that are difficult to let go of. Objects with a sentimental value rather than a financial one.
Whether a piece of jewelry, a kitchen utensil, a toy, a tool, a photograph, a letter, a travel keepsake, or a garment, every object we work with carries a narrative.
Anything that has accompanied a life and is therefore filled with meaning.
Broken, worn, or incomplete objects have their place here too. Their imperfection is often part of their story.
THE FORMS A WORK OF ART CAN TAKE
Every work finds its own language. Some memories ask to be touched; others prefer to be contemplated.
Transformed Object — The original object is reimagined through an artistic intervention that reveals a new dimension.
Framed Composition — The object is incorporated into a work conceived to be displayed and passed on.
Photographic Work — An image created especially from the object and its story, produced as a limited edition.
Bespoke Project — When a story calls for a form that has yet to be imagined.
THE CREATIVE PROCESS
1.The Story
It all starts with a meeting.
You present us the object and its story: the memories it holds, the people it involved, and what makes it precious to you.
2. Selecting the Artist
Based on the story, we select the artist or creator whose sensitivity and practice are most in line with the object and its story, because each project calls for a singular perspective.
3.The Design Process
The artist receives the object and the story that accompanies it.
From this sensitive material, they develop an artistic proposal designed to reveal, interpret, or extend the memory it holds.
4.Creating the Work
The project begins to take shape.
Through an artistic intervention, a carefully conceived composition, a framed presentation, or a photographic creation, the object becomes a unique work of art.
5. Passing It On
The finished work is presented together with its certificate of authenticity and the written narrative that inspired its creation.
A personal or family history, transformed into a tangible legacy.
