A biographical object transformed into a textile artwork, Ursa Nueva traces a migratory journey between Uruguay, Mexico, and France. Beginning with a teddy bear that served for more than twenty years as a blackboard eraser in a communications agency and accompanied Victoire throughout her professional life, the embroidered installation creates an intimate map of multiple belongings.
The spaces are not divided: without fixed borders, they overlap and converse within a constellation of memories in motion. Suspended between memory and projection, the object embodies both the continuity of identity and the emergence of a future still taking shape.
